Police in Madison, Wisconsin got an early Christmas gift already wrapped and hand delivered.

Tuesday, two men decided it would be a great idea to steal a bunch of DVDs from a Target store.

As they were driving away, laughing and bragging about their loot, they didn't realize that the police were also laughing because one of the geniuses had accidentally pocket dialed 911 so the cops got to hear them describe what they had done in full detail. Not only that, the call went on for 54 minutes.

Eventually the pair decided that instead of giving the DVDs away as Christmas presents, they were going to go to hock everything at a video store. The cops met them there and the two were arrested and charged with retail theft.

Nice work.
