Remedies For A Frozen Shut Car Window

Winters in Minnesota are absolutely gorgeous. However, they aren't so great if you don't have a garage to park your vehicle in. My basement is under construction right now--which means that most of our furniture is occupying space in the garage. My car was evicted and had to find a new home in the driveway.

This morning I made a stop in the drive thru to grab myself some hot breakfast...I'm a new mom and I haven't had a hot breakfast in forever! I realized that my car window was frozen shut! It would NOT go down. I was a little embarrassed because I had to open my car door to place my order, pay for my food and grab it!

Has this ever happened to you? My guess is that I'm not the only one. It probably happens a lot. The guy at the drive thru window had some great advice for me. He said to use my credit card...preferably one that I don't use anymore and some rubbing alcohol.
