Reasons I’m Thankful [PHOTOS]

With the holidays right around the corner, Its time to reflect on what I'm thankful for and how the good lord has blessed my life.  I have to start of course with my wife, she's put up with me for over 9 years and still thinks I'm sexy (OK I made the last part up but its good for my self esteem).

She supports me in all I do and gave me the greatest gift of all Macy Lynn.  I'm thankful I have daughters who still like to hang out with me and hopefully won't get tired of dad when their old enough to realize I'm not very cool (my boys never ever thought I was cool).  I still have Macy fooled but my oldest daughter; Makenzie is another story.  She's turning 18 next month and who knows how long the late night calls / texts will last.

I'm thankful to be blessed with a career that I love and would do for free (just don't tell my boss that or he may get some ideas).  I always knew I would be in the entertainment business and my passion for music started at a very young age.  Radio has been very good to me and the relationship I share with my audience is priceless.  I'm very happy my family and I decided to make the move to St. Cloud and join the team at Townsquare Media.

I'm extremely thankful for my family and friends.  I couldn't imagine life without any of them and couldn't have made it this far without their support.  It takes a "village" to raise this guy and lord knows I've leaned on all of them many times over the years.  It would take forever to list them all but believe me they know who they are.  I do need to send a special shout out to my best friend Jim Cech (Jimmy).  We've been best friends since 1997 and shared so many good times over the years.  Were convinced we were separated at birth but thats impossible because he's older than me lol.  He's the godfather to my daughter and I'm the godfather to his two beautiful twin daughters.  There's nothing like forever friends. (Should a grown man say things like that?)

I could go on and on but I was tasked with putting together a post of "Reasons I'm Thankful." I guess at the end of the day I'm just grateful that the lord blessed me beyond belief.  Like everyone does from time to time, I've been known to complain and want more. After putting this together, I realized I don't need anymore than I already got.  I have a wife who loves me unconditionally.  All the good, the bad and everything in between.  When rappers say they got a "Ride or Die Chick" that's my Tracy Lynn.  My children are all healthy and still not listening to a word I say (when they start listening is when I need to worry).  I've surrounded myself with good friends from the many places I've called home over the years and thankfully were still very close.

Why am I thankful?....because I'm me and that's a damn good person to be.  

PS: I'm also thankful for boy bands.
