My fiance wants to go to a Twins game tonight and I'm up in the air about whether it'll be a smart idea. It's going to be a close call and I might need to whip out a trusty coin to help figure this out. I'm sure I'm not the only Minnesotan battling this tough choice today!

Pros

  • You won't have to deal with a large crowd.
  • You'll probably be able to sit wherever you want.
  • Tickets are super cheap! You can get tickets to the game for like $10--less expensive than seeing a movie.
  • Righthander Jose Berrios is set to make his debut tonight. It's always neat to be able to say you saw a player's first game in person.
  • Parking won't be terrible either since it's a late game.
  • The Twins won last night--so, maybe they'll take home a win tonight?!

Cons

  • It's going to be cold. The overnight low is 35 degrees...
  • It's going to be wet out. There's a chance of scattered rain showers all day.
  • The game starts at 7 p.m. If you've got to be up for work the next day you'll be tired.
  • Let's face it, the Twins aren't very good this year--they might lose. They'll probably lose.
  • It's a Wednesday night game.
  • Gas prices in some places just jumped up 30 cents. If you're trying to save money this is probably the wrong time to travel.
  • There are tons of games left in the season.

So, the plot thickens! What to do?
