Pop Music Feud Between Katy Perry and Lady Gaga Over Mermaids
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
Which pop star came out with the Mermaid getup first? Katy Perry or Lady Gaga?
That seems to be the latest questions Gaga fans are getting angered about.

FTW by the way mean "For The Win."
Gaga's creative director even made a comment on Twitter:
"Proud of my artist #1 in the world @Ladygaga her vision & passion. even though they try to steal a tail there's only 1 Mermaid, Swim on!!!"
Neither Perry or Gaga have made a comment on this Mermaid subject matter. And beef's in music are not new. To answer who did the mermaid get-up first? Gaga did it before Perry, but some people are claiming MADONNA did it before both of them, way back in 1989! That should not come as a surprise to those that say Gaga copies Madonna.
Technically, Madonna was never a Mermaid, but she had men do the "dirty work" for her in her music video "Cherish."
So who makes the better Mermaid? Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, or Madonna?
I say Madonna, simply because it was handsome, buff men swimming with the flippers!
