It was going to be just another uneventful cross country flight from Pittsburgh to Phoenix.  It was in the middle of the afternoon, about 120 passengers on board, the weather was good.  Nothing out of the ordinary appeared to be on the horizon.

Then the "doggy drugs" wore off, and all 'heck' broke loose.  I'll explain.

Mandy is a 2 year old Manchester Terrier who was on the flight with her 89 year old owner.  That's right - the dog is 2 - the owner is 89.  That could be a lengthy editorial in itself, but I digress.

Mandy was in her kennel sitting next to her aforementioned 89 year old owner, when her dog sedatives began wearing off.  I HATE when that happens.

The dog began getting restless, so the owner let the dog out of the kennel.  Big mistake!  The dog bit the man sitting next to them - then began running up and down the aisles of the plane.

Before it was all over, the dog had bitten three passengers, the cabin of the plane was in shambles, and a 12 pound dog had nearly caused a plane crash.  The captain of the plane decided to make an emergency landing, so that all those who were bitten, as well as Mandy, could get medical attention.

You know, this all could've been avoided if they just had some good treats there for Mandy when she woke up.  It always works for my dog!
