I joined the ranks of binge-watchers this past weekend as my wife and I watched all nine episodes of Stranger Things 2 in less than two days.

I've never been one to commit copious amounts of time to binge watching. For one thing, my attention span can't usually handle that much commitment. For another, I value my sleep. Really value it. I've always loved the idea of a movie marathon - all three films in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy or all eight movies in the Harry Potter series or all four Hunger Games installments. But I've always spread them over the span of several days, never all in one sitting.

But with a quiet weekend free from responsibilities at my in-laws this past weekend, my wife and I couldn't help pressing "Play Next Episode" on Netflix as each episode of Stranger Things 2 ended.
