ST. CLOUD -- One person was hurt in a two vehicle crash in St. Cloud over the weekend.

The incident happened at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Clearwater Road and Sportsman's Island Road.

Police say a 16-year-old girl from Sartell was heading east on Sportsman's Island Road. She attempted to make a left turn onto Clearwater Road at the intersection, but failed to yield to oncoming traffic and hit another vehicle.

The driver of the second vehicle was 64-year-old Daniel Zika, of International Falls. He was not hurt.

His passenger, 64-year-old Sharon Zika, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The 16-year-old suffered minor injuries, but did not need treatment for her injuries.

She was cited for failure to yield to right of way traffic.
