Police Release Name of Second Body Found on Mississippi River [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud police have released the name of the man whose body was found along the Mississippi River under the Granite City Crossing Bridge last Sunday.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as 39-year-old Michael Hennager of Waite Park.

On January 6th, the Waite Park Police Department had taken a missing person report at which time Hennager had been reported as missing from a group home.

Police say the death is not considered suspicious in nature, and it does appear that Hennager had injuries consistent with a fall from the height of the bridge.

A second body was also found on the ice of the Mississippi River, who earlier this week was identified as 21-year-old Hannah Udvig of St. Cloud.

Her body was spotted by a walker on the bridge at about 12:30 p.m. last Sunday.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone that may have been on or near that bridge at about 1:00 a.m. on Sunday. Potential witnesses should call the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office at 251-4240.
