So many people don't know, but one of the best friends I've ever had in my life, Amy Garbacz (Wilder) got me into seeing "the little things" in nature, with her love of photography. I remember looking at the photos she took of nature...simple rocks...mushrooms....leaves...and I've been doing it ever since. These pictures are from my backyard at our new home in Princeton. Lovely fragrant Lilacs pictured above.

Apples anyone? Before the apples, the tree delivers beautiful blooms. My whole yard is filled with the pretty trees.

Helicopters anyone? My maple tree in my front yard reminds me of being a kid, and watching the 'helicopters' float to the ground.

OAK TREE

I'm not absolutely sure, but I think this beautiful tree is an oak tree. If I could paint a picture of this, I would. This is our front yard. The Oak tree welcomes everyone to our home.

This is my friend Amy and I, being silly on a trip to somewhere in school. Which trip I'm not sure...but I have so many great memories with Amy! She has left a lasting impression on me in many ways...one of them the love of blooms...rocks...leaves...nature's small but beautiful miracles that we have all around us every day.
