Meet Yipitee and Harley, two adorable pets ready for their belly rubs!

Yipitee is a neutered 1 year old Boxer and Smooth Collie mix who came to the shelter because his previous owner didn’t have enough time to spend with him. Yipitee was kept primarily outdoors, but he has been keeping his kennel clean at the shelter, so housetraining should be a snap. He knows how to sit, and prefers belly rubs over toys. Due to his outgoing personality, Yipitee makes friends easily — except with cats. Sometimes he forgets his large size and may bump toddlers over. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet this people-pleaser because his zest for life just might brighten up yours!

She may resemble and even act a little like the shelter’s mascot, WIBS, but her name is Harley and she’s in the cat room, not on the lobby’s counter. Harley shares the motto of the famous motorcycle – “Live Cage Free.” She was brought to the shelter because her owner had a major lifestyle change. Harley got along famously with her feline friends, but has not been exposed to dogs or small children. Her easy-going, mellow personality makes her very approachable. Harley is spayed and 2 years old. This would make her a candidate to be adopted by someone with a military ID or a senior citizen for no fee.
