Meet Trigger and Kisses. Two playful pets waiting for you at the Tri-County Humane Society.

Trigger is a 4 year old German Wirehaired Pointer. She came to the shelter because her previous owner didn’t have enough time for her anymore. Trigger enjoyed the company of their 3 year old child and is described as having an active personality. She strives to please her people and is very smart. Trigger is dominant with other dogs and chases cats, so she’d do best as the only pet in the home. Although she was primarily kept outdoors, she has been keeping her kennel clean at the shelter and should be an easy one to housetrain.

Kisses is a spayed 13 year old cat who is hoping someone out there has a soft spot for senior pets. Not that 13 is all that old for an indoor cat. Kisses still has episodes of playfulness and got along with all ages of people and other animals in her previous home. Her people were moving and unfortunately could not take her with them. Kisses seems to really listen when you talk to her. If you need a good listener, she’d be there for you. And if aren’t in the mood to talk, she’s fine with finding a ray of sunshine to nap in.
