Pepper is a 9 year old Rat Terrier mix.

He was surrendered because his person and roommate had some health issues to deal with which made caring for Pepper a challenge. The two of them were best friends and the only ones living in the home.

If you live alone, Pepper would adjust quite quickly. But that doesn’t mean he couldn’t be introduced to a different lifestyle and succeed -- as long as it was done gradually and with care. Pepper was described as a cuddly lap dog He is still quite active and absolutely adores squeaky toys!

He is house-trained and past that puppy chewing stage. Pepper and his previous owner enjoyed quality time by going on leashed walks and snuggling at night. It sounds like thunderstorms and car rides make Pepper nervous. Don't hesitate to ask the front desk for information on helping Pepper face his fears and get to be the happiest dog he can be!

Cinder is a very sweet, 1 ½ year old neutered male who is looking to start a fire in someone’s heart!

He came to the shelter because he made someone in his previous home sneeze and wheeze.

This fun-loving cat still acts like a kitten and loves racing around the room and jumping high in the air for feather toys. Cinder used to live with other cats but has not had the opportunity to interact with dogs.

Stop by and meet Cinder in person and see if a spark ignites!
