SAUK RAPIDS - The Benton County Fairgrounds took on a classic feel Sunday at the annual Pantowners Car Show and Swap.

The 42nd annual car show and swap meet is the largest one-day event of it's kind in Minnesota.

Bruce Theisen is a member of the Pantowners Antique Auto Club and organizer of the event. He says the show and swap meet brings thousands of people, and hundreds of cars, to Central Minnesota.

"With all the people that come in for the show cars and swap we think we probably get 8,000 to 10,000 people through the gates."

Theisen has been a part of the show since it's inception over 40 years ago. He says his favorite part of the event is learning the great stories behind people's cars."

"Meeting people and their cars. Most people have a story with their car and some of them are really really neat."

One of the highlights at the event was a one-of-a-kind Pan Motors Model A.
