Uffda, that just hurts.

The Minnesota State Fair 2018 season officially kicked off this morning at 6:00, and the first person through the gates was a Green Bay Packers fan.

Ouch.

MPR News Reporter Tim Nelson tweeted a photo at 5:54 Thursday morning of Ginger Johnson of Apple Valley, the first in line for the Great Get Together. Ginger -- wearing a Packers t-shirt -- had been in line since 11:11 Wednesday night, intent on being the first person into the Fair.

According to Nelson's tweet, Johnson says today will be the first of 10 days at the State Fair (though what she has planned for the other two days is anyone's guess).

Nelson's tweet -- or, rather, Johnson's t-short -- garnered some attention from Minnesotans who thought it a crime that a Packer's fan would be the first into the Great Minnesota Get Together:

Johnson's achievement breaks the previous record set by Brian Motiaytis who had been first in line for three straight years, reports Bring Me the News.

The Minnesota State Fairgrounds will be open 6:00am to midnight through Sunday, September 2 and 6:00am to 10:00pm Labor Day; most activity or event centers open between 8-10am.
