Over 400 Polar Bear Plungers
More than 400 brave souls will tighten up and take the Plunge this weekend. The St. Cloud Polar Bear Plunge is on at the 400 Supper Club tomorrow (Saturday). The pre-registration begins at 11am and the would-be human ice-cubes jump in at 1pm. You can come out and participate as a spectator
Plungers were asked to have a minimum of $75 in pledges and a brave spirit. The 2010 St. Cloud event included 300 wild-eyed and wet Plungers who raised more than $50,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics Minnesota. 401 Plungers are pre-registered for the 2011 event, including local law enforcement officers and Special Olympics Athletes.
