Original Dating Game Host Died [VIDEO]

I was sad to hear that legendary TV host and radio personality Jim Lange passed away. He spent years as the original host of The Dating Game (1965-74, 1978-80) and over 45 years on the radio, which is where he got his start.  Jim had a heart attack early Tuesday morning at the age of 81 but it wasn’t reported to the public until late yesterday afternoon.  I did some research and found out Jim was originally from St. Paul, MN. He graduated from St. Thomas Academy High School, before attending the U of M.

Here’s an episode of The Dating Game from 1978 featuring comedy icon Andy Kaufman.
