UPDATE: NWS: Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Monday Night, Tuesday

UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Stearns, Benton, and Sherburne counties as well as areas to our south. It will be in effect from Monday night through Tuesday.

The first round of snow arrives later this afternoon and persists through Tuesday.

Heaviest snow will fall tonight from south central Minnesota up toward Eau Claire, where 6 to 10 inches of snow are expected. Tuesday, light snow will move out of western and across central MN toward northwest WI.

An additional 2 to 4 inches of snow is possible.
