North St. Cloud Liquor Store Robbed At Gunpoint

ST. CLOUD - An armed gunmen robbed a north St. Cloud liquor store. Police say it happened at about 8:40 p.m. Monday night in the 500 block of 25th Avenue North.

A man entered the store displaying a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect described as a black man, about 5'8" tall, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, and dark jeans that were tucked into white socks.

The suspect left the store on foot in a northeast direction. He got away with some cash and some bottles of alcohol.

There was one customer in the store. He left the store before police arrived, they are asking him to come forward for a statement.

No one was hurt.
