North St. Cloud Home Destroyed By Fire Over the Weekend

The St. Cloud Fire Department received a call of house fire at 12:30 a.m. this past Saturday (7/5) morning at 610 7th Avenue North.  When fire crews arrived the home was already fully engulfed, and they requested mutual aid to assist with the blaze. Sauk Rapids, Sartell, Waite Park, St. Augusta, and Cold Spring fire departments were called in to help extinguish the fire.

The damage to the 4,500 square foot home is estimated at about $140,000.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
