Boy-band fans around the globe are buzzing over the news that the youngest Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is teaming up with NKOTB's Jordan Knight for a new album and tour this fall. They're calling the project 'Nick and Knight.'  The guys will make a stop in Minneapolis on Wednesday, September 24th at Mill City Nights.  Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 2nd.  You can pre-order their self-titled album and get an immediate download of their new song 'Just The Two Of Us.'  Look for the two man-banders on Good Morning America this morning, The Wendy Williams Show this afternoon and on Watch What Happens Live tonight at 10 pm central on Bravo.

This isn't the first time these two have recorded together.  I was lucky enough to join them in the studio and work on the song 'Believe' back in 2005. It was supposed to be a fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina victims, but never was released (thank Lou Pearlman for that).  The song featured guest vocals by Nick's little brother Aaron, Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees and Bryan Abrams from Color Me Badd.  It was a great song, well written and something I was very proud to be apart of.  P.S. Nick's vocal was amazing!

Let's also not forget the super group 'NKOTBSB' and the joint album / tour they did back in 2011-2012. Here's to another year of great pop music and your two favorite heartthrobs.  Find your inner tween and join them on the road this fall.
