Aaron Carter (performer and brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter) was in Boston on Saturday when he says he was attacked by four grown men for deigning to perform in New Kids on the Block territory.

Suffice it to say, there's going to be a rumble when Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch fans hear about Donnie Wahlberg's claim to Beantown.

Carter, who posted some nasty photos of his beat-down on Facebook, told TMZ he was leaving dinner when a hulking man came out of the shadows and yelled, "I heard you’re doing a show here tomorrow. This is the town of the New Kids."

He says three other guys then leaped out of a Chevy Malibu and proceeded to pummel him. Although as evidenced by his knuckles and his claims, he was able to get a few shots in before they took off.

"I think my knuckles might be broken, but that's what they get. People think I'm a pretty little white boy but no way. I think I won. I'm still standing," Carter said of the strange turn of events.

He also joked of the 'West Side Story' type attack on Facebook, captioning the photo with the commentary, "Eh Jordan Knight this one of your homies? He got his ass handed to him last night but his boys got me.. #Soldier"

A police report was not filed because Carter said that would be way too "girlie." Almost as "girlie" in fact as getting the snot whipped out of you by fans of New Kids on the Block -- whom we're not entirely quite sure were actually men. Maybe it was just a pack of women who are really pissed off the '80s are over.
