I'm already afraid to use my debit or credit card anywhere (thanks Target) and now don't even want to answer my cell phone.  Here's the latest scam that's making the rounds. If you get a call from an unknown number and it only rings once, don't call back! Apparently its a new scam out of the Caribbean and if you do call back, you'll be hit with a charge of around $29 on your cell bill.

The people behind the scam have a computer that places calls to thousands of random cell numbers, then disconnects after only one ring.  The number appears to be local BUT ITS NOT!  If you do call back, its really an international call and you'll get hit with a $19.95 connection fee plus $9.00 a minute you stay on the line.  The good people at the Better Business Bureau are all over this and hoping to have more info soon.
