I love the fall. Some girls shine in the summer, but my season is definitely fall. From the sweatshirts and cardigans to bonfire and crock pots, fall is definitely my favorite.

Central Minnesota is a great place to be in the fall. The scenery is beyond beautiful and we celebrate the season in a big way. Here are a few stops you'll want to make in your own backyard this year.

    Lake Wobegone Trail

The Lake Wobegone Trail is one of the best places to see the leaves change colors. The trail is full of changing leaves and fall flowers. If you're in the mood to take a walk or bike ride in the brisk fall air, this is the perfect place because it's 62-miles long, 10-feet wide. The pathway extends through Stearns and Todd counties from St. Joseph to Osakis.

    Saint John's Arboretum

Saint John's University/ Saint John's Abbey Arboretum is a spectacular fall view. The university is located in the middle of the woods, surrounded by 3,000 acres of nature. The arboretum hosts a fall colors tour each year usually at the beginning of October. You should definitely check out a Johnny football game when the leaves are changing colors. It's a beautiful view.
