My Other Life…Tonight At Shooters In Princeton

THE BEGINNING OF 'BOOTS AND SPURS'

Have I introduced you to my music partner in crime? Mr. Todd Wohl.  Before I started singing in the area again, I met Todd at a Remote broadcast at Spa-Nala. At the time, my massage therapist was there for the morning show, and her fiance Todd was helping her bring things in for the morning broadcast. I wasn't even thinking about getting back into music at the time, but Rhonda suggested if I ever decided I wanted to get out and play again, to give Todd a call, and maybe we could do a few songs together.

GETTING BACK IN THE MUSIC SCENE

Fast forward to last October. Chad told me I should jump back in to singing and told me to book at date..JUST DO IT. We called Shari at The Water's Edge, and my first gig in Central Minnesota was born. After a few performances, I spoke with Rhonda again, and Todd and I decided to work on a few shows, and the rest is history. He brings a great country flair, classic rock, humor and great stage presence to the show. I mix in some pop, country, rock of my own. We both sing lead and harmony vocals and have a great blend. It's been so much fun getting back into something I've always loved.

SHOOTERS IN PRINCETON TONIGHT

Tonight, we will be performing at Shooters in Princeton! Thank you to Chris Flor and his wonderful staff for inviting us in. On a side note, Shooters used to be "The Curve." My aunt and uncle Donna and Kim Rhode owned the restaurant, so it feels like I'm going back home. I'm so excited to perform this evening. SOLO AT 'THE VERANDA LOUNGE'- Tips go to #TeamBumpa for Parkinsons

Friday night, I'm also honored to be playing at the amazing Veranda Lounge, located in front of Pioneer Place in downtown St. Cloud.  I'll be playing from 9 to midnight, and all tips that go in the tip jar will be donated to #TeamBumpa who will be walking for a cure for Parkinsons in the Twin Cities on Saturday morning.'
