Wow.  I'm having trouble getting my thoughts together today due to the lack of sleep after last night's MixUnplugged show with O-Town.  So I apologize if this is a bit scattered.

What a night with these guys!  I arrived right around 6pm and was escorted upstairs to a table in the 3rd floor restaurant at D.B. Searle's and there they were.  O-Town.  Dan, Erik, Jacob, Trevor.  No Ashley?  Nope.  He's apparently doing musical theater and during the Q&A Jacob revealed that Ashley was cast in Wicked - pretty sweet!   I love that musical.  Wonder what role he'll be playing.

Anyways.  I sat at the table in a bit of shock.  Honestly, the guys barely looked a day older than when they last took to the road with the original line-up.  The only person I thought looked drastically different was baby face Erik.  But any fan knows he had a little growing up to do as he was such a baby when they cast him in the band.

This may seem strange to you, but I hate asking bands and artists for pictures and autographs, because a part of me thinks they'll say no.  But I worked up the courage, pulled out my CD and asked if the guys would sign it for me.

They did one better.  It was like a walk down memory lane for them and the guys revealed a few fun facts about the photo shoot they did for the inner flip book.  Like, did you know that Erik was going through his freshman 15 (his words, not mine, I think he looked fantastic) when they did the shoot and he found out post press that the label had used photoshop on his pic?  And how about the fact that Jacob finally ditched the dreads because one day he said he could smell them, so he ran home and buzzed his head - LOL.

One of my favorite parts of the table chatter before the show was when Trevor grabbed the booklet from their self titled album and the guys started reading the "Thank You's" they had written oh so many years ago to see who was still relevant in their lives.

Needless to say, my entire O-Town experience was so positive!  These guys are down to earth, care for their fans, have a great sense of humor about who they are and how they came to be as a band.  It was refreshing how open they were during the Q&A and this night made me an even bigger O-Town fan!
