My amazing husband surprised me on our wedding day with tickets to see Britney Spears in Chicago, Illinois this past weekend. It has been a dream of mine to see the pop princess since second grade.

I've never been to Chicago in the winter--so, it was absolutely breathtaking to see the whole city lit up in Christmas lights and decorations. They definitely do Christmas better than we do in St. Cloud. Nearly everyone we passed by on the train and in the streets was decked out in Christmas clothes and costumes. It was probably one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Plus, I even got to take a picture with Santa.

Our first stop on our tour of the city was to see Wrigley Field. I had never been there before, so it was a neat experience to see where Babe Ruth once played and where the Cubs just won the World Series.

Of course, my husband and I had to stop and eat pizza--when in Chicago, right?! We stopped and had a small pepperoni pizza at Gino's East...it was phenomenal--the best I've ever had in my life.

Next on the tour, we went to Millennium Park to see Cloud Gate, a giant sculpture that looks kind of like a huge rain drop. I'd go back to Chicago again just to see this sculpture because it was that cool! Make sure you bring your ice skates if you have plans to stop here because they have the cutest little skating rink in the middle of the park too--boy was it packed!

Our last adventure was my favorite adventure. We went to the B96 Jingle Bash at Allstate Arena in Rosemount. They had an good lineup of performers including; Shawn Mendes, Alessia Cara, DNCE, One Republic, G-Easy, Fifth Harmony, The Chainsmokers AND of course BRITNEY SPEARS! Seeing Britney was a 16 year dream come true and I can't thank my husband enough for the amazing experience. He's the best.
