So you're looking for a good movie, but feel like there's just nothing new worth watching.  These all time favorites never go out of style.  If you're looking for a great movie, try one of these on for size.

FORREST GUMP

  • This Academy Award winner for Best Picture stars Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump, a very simple man who manages to somehow be involved with  major events in history during the last half of the 20th Century. Spanning the course of his life, the story follows him as he grows from a boy,  war hero, and a shrimp boat captain.  It show his longing for the love of his childhood friend Jenny, played by Robin Wright. This is probably my favorite all time movie.

THE WIZARD OF OZ

The Wizard of Oz is a 1939 American musical fantasy, starring the very talented Judy Garland; . With it's tornado effects, flying witches, crazy characters and being the first black and white to color production, It has become one of the best known of all films and part of American popular culture. It also featured what is probably the most elaborate use of character make-up and special effects that were possible at the time the film was created.

STEEL MAGNOLIAS

Wow.  Is this ever a tear jerker.  But it's so real, something that we can all relate to. Real life moments that can be devastating, and precious all at the same time.  An all star cast makes this one that most women will enjoy...Julia Robert, Dolly Parton, and many many more.....Guys out there will probably cringe!  If THEY don't cry...then there's something wrong.
