Severe weather ripped through the area this weekend. We have the latest, plus how to help. The Oprah Winfrey Show is ending on Wednesday and a law breaker follows the rules.

There were numerous reports of hail, wind damage and funnel clouds over the weekend and the hardest hit area is the North Minneapolis neighborhood. According to the National Weather Service, the reports started coming in about 2:15 Sunday afternoon and it started around St. Louis Park and tracked northeastward into Brooklyn Center and Fridley, but areas in North Minneapolis are completely destroyed. News agencies are reporting several injuries and one fatality due to the storm. The exits from 694/94 into that area of Minneapolis are closed to traffic, so if you're headed that way, allow some extra time. You can follow the traffic situation here. The Minneapolis Police understand that folks may want to help, but are asking that people stay out for right now. If you would like to help, you can contact the Salvation Army or the Red Cross.

Oprah is going away! Her final shows are airing today through Wednesday and they're jam packed with former guests and A-list celebrities. Today and tomorrow, her shows are being billed as "A Farewell Spectacular" in two parts and then the final finale will air on Wednesday. For a law breaker, this guy is pretty good about following the rules. Last week, a hoodie clad, 20 something man walked into the PNC Bank in Columbus, Ohio intending to rob the place. A teller asked him to pull his hood down, politely explaining their policy against hats, hoods and sunglasses. Instead of seizing that moment to pull off the heist, he complied and removed his hood, exposing his face and giving the security cameras a crystal clear shot of his face, then he robbed the bank. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money. The police and FBI already have a pretty good idea of who this joker is.
