How often do you hit the drive thru? It's true! Men take longer than women to get ready for work and how to get your kids to eat their vegetables.

A new survey found that on average, we eat take out almost three thousand times in our lives. Based on the 62 years of adulthood from age 18 to 80, we eat take out 2,875 times or 46 times per year. The cost? Almost $27 thousand dollars. To put things in perspective, that's a really nice new car. The most popular reason people hit the drive thru? Not wanting to cook.

I can't believe this is accurate, but I saw it on the Internet, so it must be true. According to Travelodge, the average man takes 81 minutes to shower, shave, groom and style his hair, pick out his clothes and get dressed. The average woman takes 75 minutes to do the same thing, or SIX MINUTES LESS THAN A MAN. HA! The people behind the study say that women are more efficient at getting ready because we have our hair/makeup/clothing routine down to a science.

In the never ending struggle to get your children to eat their vegetables, a new study from Reuters Health says that the best way to get kids to eat is to bribe them with stickers. That's right. In this all things digital world, stickers are the best way to get kids to eat their veggies. Researchers found that when parents gave their kids stickers in exchange for eating small portions of vegetables, over the course of a few weeks, the kids actually started liking veggies. Research also showed that bribing kids with food did not work. As in, "eat your broccoli and I'll give you ice cream." It made children associate vegetables with dessert and vegetables are ALWAYS going to lose that battle. Stickers and sticker books, by the way are on sale at Toys R Us.
