Sartell is known for being a safe town in the heart of central Minnesota. With so much bad news in the world, it’s endearing and entertaining to see some of the police calls that the Sartell Police Department has to respond to.

The department updates their blotter weekly on their Facebook page. It’s safe to say, reading their blotter is my not so secret addiction. Some of my favorites from this week include; police investigating someone's band practice, pesky kids who won't stop calling 911 and more. Here are my favorites from this week;

Thursday, Feb. 11· 7:20 pm. Brianna Drive. Loud Music. A complaint was made regarding loud music coming from a residence. An officer spoke with a resident, who stated they have band practice but end before the noise ordinance goes into effect."

"Friday, Feb. 12· 3:49 pm. 4th Ave East. 911 Hang Up. Officers responded to an address with multiple reports of 911 hang ups. It was found that a child was playing with the phone."

"Saturday, February 13th · 5:01 am. Walgreens. Suspicious Vehicle. While on patrol, an officer located a vehicle parked at a closed business. The driver stated that he was delivering papers and was running early so he was just waiting. No further action was taken."

"Monday, February 15th · 3:52 pm. Highway 15. Slumped Male. A report was made regarding a male slumped over at the wheel while at a stop light. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle. No license plate provided."

Keep being you, Sartell! :)
