Mom Creates Superhero Hearing Aid For Son

A boy in the U.K. named Freddie was both born with a congenital defect. He's deaf in one ear, and has some hearing loss in the other. He wears a cochlear implant, which is an electronic device that that fits in your ear, and sends sound signals through your inner ear to your brain.

But Freddie felt very insecure about the implant, and his mom Sarah didn't want him to feel self-conscious. So she created My Lugs. It's a cool line of decal kits so kids can decorate their hearing aids or implants with stickers of their favorite superheroes and movie characters.
