While summer may seem ages away still, Minnesota State Fair officials have just given us two more reasons to look forward to warmer weather.

Lionel Richie and Brandi Carlile have been announced as Grandstand acts at this year's 2019 Great Minnesota Get-Together.

The "All Night Long" will entertain for several hours, anyways, the evening of August 30 with hits like “Endless Love,” “Lady,” “Hello,” “Say You, Say Me,” and even some songs from his time with The Commodores.

Tickets for Lionel Richie range from $57-$67 and go on sale Friday, February 8 at noon.

The next evening August 31 will see folk rock and Americana singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile perform the Grandstand.

Carlile's latest album By the Way, I Forgive You debuted at No. 5 on Billboard 200 and No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums chart. She's also nominated for 6 Grammy Awards this year, the most nominations for a female in 2019.

Tickets to see Brandi Carlile range from $51-$76 and go on sale Friday, February 8 at 10:00am.
