Have you ever wondered what Minnesotans Google the most on Thanksgiving? If you thought it was something to do with how to make a turkey, it would be a good guess--  but you'd be wrong. It also has nothing to do with making pie, the football schedule, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, or even the presidential turkey pardoning.

No, in fact, it isn't any of those things. It's worse. Century Link  used Google Trends to look at search volumes in November, you know, around Thanksgiving time. They compared states based on certain 'Thanksgiving terms' they were Googling. Minnesotans Google 'what is Thanksgiving?' more than anything else related to the holiday. WHAT?! How do some people not KNOW what Thanksgiving is. OUR OWN NEIGHBORS Google this!

I'm guessing that there's some random elementary school somewhere in our state that's teaching kids about Thanksgiving for the first time...at least, I hope that's the reason why it's our most Googled thing on Thanksgiving.

We're luckily not alone. Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio and Tennessee all got the same results we did. They don't know what Thanksgiving is either (sigh).

Please, please...tell me you know what Thanksgiving IS!
