Minnesota ‘Voice’ Contestant Nicholas David Visits Mexico With ‘Smile Network’ [VIDEO]

At least two great things have come from Minnesota -- The Smile Network and The Voice contestant, Nicholas David.  The two have come together in Mexico to do some amazing work.

According to an article from KSTP, Nicholas traveled down to Mexico along with the Smile Network to visit a family who have a little boy named Angel.  Angel is seven months old and his face is disfigured by a cleft lip and palate, which is where the Smile Network steps in.

The group helps people less fortunate get the surgery to mend cleft lips and palates.  In this case, a few days after arriving in Mexico, Nicholas has the privilege of taking the little boy from his mother and walking him in to surgery.

Within a few hours the surgery is over and Angel's whole life is transformed.
