SARTELL -- A Minneapolis man wanted on several felony warrants was arrested in Sartell early this (Friday) morning.

The incident happened just before 1:30 a.m. along County Road 120 in Sartell.

Sartell Police Chief Jim Hughes says during a traffic stop, the driver gave the officer a false name. Futher investigation identified the man as 21-year-old Brady Ludescher, who was wanted on two outstanding felony warrants in Stearns and Cass Counties.

The officer then conducted a search of Ludescher's vehicle and found about 1.5 pounds of crystal meth and a .22 caliber handgun.

He was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail.

He faces charges of 1st degree controlled substance, felony warrants, a felon in possession of a handgun, and giving a false name to an officer.
