WalletHub recently listed Minneapolis, Minnesota among the best cities in the United States to celebrate Oktoberfest.

The website looked at 100 of the largest cities in the country and ranked them based on 23 criteria. They looked at everything from the size of the town's German population to the number of beer gardens per capita. The average price of an Oktoberfest ticket was also taken into account.

Minneapolis was ranked number 19 in the country, scoring high marks for having a lot of Oktoberfest traditions. We were ranked number five for the most breweries per capita. However, our ticket prices were a little high.

The top five cities to celebrate Oktoberfest include; Cincinnati at number one followed by New York, Portland, Philadelphia and Denver.
