To celebrate the Friday (Sept. 29) release of her sixth full-length album Younger Now, Miley Cyrus didn't choose to party it up in Los Angeles or New York City. The singer instead kept it close to her roots, teaming up with Spotify to take over the rooftop of Nashville's famed honky tonk, Tootsie's Orchid Lounge.

And further keeping it close to her heart, one of the highlights of the night included her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, hopping on stage to perform his signature 1992 mega-hit "Achy Breaky Heart" with her. Miley stepped back for the most part and let Billy Ray take center stage, strumming guitar and joining him in on the chorus.

Prior to the performance, Miley took queries at a fan Q&A session, where according to Rolling Stone she called out her dad as a major influence on her latest work.

""I grew up being surrounded by my dad's music," she said. "So my dad inspired this record a lot."

"Achy Breaky Heart" is, unsurprisingly, a family treasure within the Cyrus clan. Earlier in September, the entire clan -- including sisters Noah and Brandi, mom Tish, and brothers Trace and Braison -- all piled into a car together for an episode of Apple Music’s Carpool Karaoke series to blast out the tune.
