FOLEY - Police have released the name of the man whose body was found at a park in Foley.

Foley Police Chief Katie McMillin says the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office has identified the man as 35-year-old Jason Beaufeaux of Foley.

Police were called to an area near Lion's Park at about 6:00 p.m. last (Monday) night by a resident who said they found something that appeared to be a body.

An initial investigation indicates the body had been there for several days.

McMillin says the cause of death remains under investigation and they do not believe the public is in any danger.
