Madonna is one of eight kids in her family. The news is coming out now that one of her brothers is homeless and living under a bridge.

Her older brother, Anthony Ciccone, told the "Michigan Messenger" that he has been homeless for a year and a half. He currently resides beneath the Union Street Bridge in Traverse City, MI.

Anthony used to work at Ciccone Vineyard, which is owned by their Father, but he lost that job and now makes a living collecting bottles and cans.

"My family turned their back on me, basically, when I was having a hard time. You think I haven't answered this kind of question a bazillion times . . . why my sister is a multibazillionarie, and I'm homeless on the street?  Never say never.  This could happen to anybody."

He didn't say why he lost his job, and I know the economy is pretty rough right now, but seriously, you can't work for a gas station or a production place?! I might be sounding pretty rude, but there are jobs out there, ones you may or may not want, but when times are tough I would think working somewhere is better money than collecting cans.

I don't know why Anthony is coming out now saying this. Maybe he's hoping to get money off of a book deal or magazine covers talking about how his rich sister won't help him out. And I'm torn on the issue with Madonna. It's not her fault he's stumbled on hard times, but when you have that much cash, why would you not help out a family member that is struggling.

I have always told myself that if/when I get paid millions to talk on the radio my families bills would be paid off. Mortgage, car, credit cards, medical bills...all gone! Will that ever happen? Who knows, but I will die trying.

What do you think - Should Madonna help out her brother, or should he "suck it up" like everyone else that has come up with the short end of the stick?
