Macklemore announced that he is now the proud father of a baby girl, Sloan Ava Simone, born on May 29, 2015. The announcement comes with the release of his new song, "Growing up (Sloane's Song)," featuring Ryan Lewis and Ed Sheeran (clever way to announce the birth of his baby girl).

Macklemore took to Instagram to make the announcement:

"There's nothing like the joy and happiness that comes with bringing a baby into the universe. She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew possible. She is the love of my life. This song is for her". That statement couldn't be more true...
