The Spice Girls reunite for the Summer Olympics in London to perform the Closing Ceremony. The girls haven't performed together on stage since 2008.

The Spice Girls are expected to sing two songs and along with them on August 12th we can expect to see George Michael, The Who, Take That and Jessie J.

All the music recorded for the Summer Olympics is to be released digitally to include  both Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Other music from the major event to be released will be the, "Isles of Wonder: Music for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games" that is scheduled to released July 28th.

"A Symphony of British Music: Music for the Closing Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games" to be released August 12th.

10,000 performers expected on the opening ceremony directed by the electronic duo Underworld.

A point of interest The Games artistic director, Danny Boyle stated the opening ceremony got it's name, "Isles of Wonder" from that speech in, "The Tempest" by Shakespeare.
