Local 411 – Over 184 Days In The Hospital- Go Fund Jaidah

WHAT'S HAPPENING

Jaidah and her mother, sister, and her mom's best friend visited us in the studio to share Jaidah's story several months ago. Jaidah Ruedy had her life change after simple flu like symptoms in February. After several trips to the St. Cloud hospital, Jaidah had blood drawn and chest x-rays done. The results showed 2 blood cots in her left ventricle. Her heart and liver were enlarged and her lungs were filling with fluid. She was admitted to the U of M- Masonic Children's Hospital on March 9th. She has since had a Left Ventricle Assist Device put in to pump the blood thru her heart. She is on a waiting list for a new heart. She has now been in the hospital over 184 days. The family has been left with little to no income due to her care and treatment.
