Local 411 – Lake Wobegon Marathon This Saturday!

THE EXCITEMENT STARTS IN HOLDINGFORD 

The Lake Wobegon Marathon (26.2 miles long) is going to be held this Saturday, May 9th, and begins in Holdingford, continues through Albany, then Avon, and ends with the finish line in St. Joseph.

WE ARE ENCOURAGING SPECTATORS TO SHOW THEIR SUPPORT

The race will begin at the Holdingford High School and finishes at the Trail Facility in St. Joseph.  Spectator support is a very important role for the competitors. Anyone who wants to show their support to these fantastic runners, is encouraged to attend and cheer on the competitors. There will be specific locations in each town for Spectators to congregate. OPTIONAL PRE RACE DINNER FRIDAY EVENING

All St. Cloud River Runner members, marathon runners, and volunteers may attend the optional pre race dinner the evening before the event. Family and friends are also encouraged and invited to attend.
