A special showing of "A Sister's Call" by Greyhawk Films and Tekiela Creative in association with Kartempquin Films, a 2012 Award Winning Film written by Rebecca Schaper, will be taking place this Wednesday, May 13th at 11 am at the Marcus Parkwood Cinema in Waite Park. THE STORY
In 1977, Call Richmond, Rebecca's older brother, went missing. Twenty years later, he showsed up on his sister Rebecca's doorstep suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. Filmed over fourteen years, 'A sister's Call' captures Rebecca's brave journey of "bringing her brother back." While celebrating his healing, the family was forced to reconcile the trauma and painful memories of their past. This is a true story, no reality tv here. Many people will find some common threads with this movie.
