LEGACY Performance Was A Thriller [Pictures]

What a blast!  Saturday night, I had a chance to meet up with the LEGACY crew at the Cathedral Performing Arts Center.  What a great show.  This was a Michael Jackson Review Dance show featuring Michael Jackson Impersonator LC Jackson (Luis Castillo).

I chatted with Luis a little bit after the concert and talked about our interview on WJON AM 1240.  He was thankful for the publicity for the show, and I learned from the interview that he has been performing as a Michael Jackson Impersonator for approximately 15 years.  Many of his dance crew have been with him for over six years, and he said sometimes the dancers are chosen not just because of their abilities, but also because of their ability to work together.  Luis said this was a great group that he was working with currently, and you can tell when you talk to the dancers that they are all friends, and really enjoy each others company, and performing together on stage.  They have a presence that demands your attention.

Being a Michael Jackson fan, I didn't know what to expect from this show going in, but I'm so glad I was able to see this great group of performers.  They definitely put on a spectacular show, and their love for what they do comes shining through.  They stayed for over an hour taking pictures and chatting with the crowd afterwards.  It was truly a pleasurable experience.   The Legacy group is based out of the Twin Cities. If you get a chance to see them again, don't miss it. It was a "Thriller!"
