Do we really need another singing competition on TV. We have American Idol, The Voice, X-Factor, America's Got Talent (which sometimes features singing) and now a new one coming to VH1.

Former 'N Sync Member Lance Bass has pledged to find the next Boy Band! The show which does not have a title or premiere date yet will feature former Boy Band members like A.J. McLean from Backstreet Boys, Joey Fatone from 'N Sync, Joe McIntyre from New Kids On The Block, and Bobby Brown from New Edition. Although Bobby has yet to agree, Lance is feeling optimistic that he will do it.

From what is being released on the show, it will be similar to The Voice where they coach the musicians. No blind auditions though, Lance says he will pick the contestants himself.

"They're all going to form a boy band, each, from the most talented guys in America that I've scouted . . .and then they'll go head-to-head in a competition to see who the best boy band is, so it's bragging rights for the guy in the group, for sure."

What ever happened to hard work and doing small gigs at bars in the middle of no where until you finally got a record deal?!
