Ladies Would You Rather Be Called “Cute” or “Hot”

Because our conversations are so serious while having some drinks and hanging out by the fire, this topic some how came up. Don't ask me how, I was more involved with the drinks.

The ladies around the fire this weekend started talking about how, "when I was single, men would refer to me as 'sexy' or 'hot'... but now that they are married or engaged their other half refers to them as "cute".

Apparently, "cute" is meant for kids and puppies.

As the topic reached new levels, it came to our attention (from the ladies) that when a guy calls a woman cute, it means she's attractive and relationship material. But "hot" or "sexy" are reserved for women guys just want to hook up with.

In your opinion, is this true? If you knew a guy was talking about you, what would you want them to call you... attractive?
