Kendall Schmidt Gave My Sister His Guitar Pick [PICS]

Last night's Mixed Unplugged event was my sister's childhood dream come true. My sister Katie is a huge fan of the former Nickelodeon show Big Time Rush, so when she found out Kendall Schmidt, from the show, was coming to town with Heffron Drive she freaked out!

Before the show started, she got the opportunity to grab a photo with Kendall backstage. They talked for a few minutes and then he told her he had something for her. She told me she was super confused at this point.

He reached his hand into his pocket and pulled out a guitar pick and handed it to her. At that moment, she had no idea what to say. She told me, "if I died today, I'd be OK with it because I don't know how life could get better than this." Of course she was being dramatic, but it was entertaining to watch!

Once the show started, the band gave a huge 21st birthday shout out to Abbey from the Afternoon Mix. The entire room ended up singing Happy Birthday to Abbey! What a way to celebrate your 21st, right?!
