Many of us are trying to lose weight. Sometimes, if you're not in a hurry, losing weight can be as simple as making small changes to your daily routines.  These small changes, along with adding a little bit of exercise to your life, can make big changes over time.  This is a great way to NOT stress about weight gain, and lose it naturally over time.

DRINK A GLASS OF WATER BEFORE MEALS

You'll stay hydrated and feel fuller, which can help prevent overeating.

 

MAKE SOME SWAPS FOR EACH MEAL

Choosing a vinaigrette dressing over thick creamy dressings, and get fresh fruit instead of canned options to save even more calories.

 

EAT DARK CHOCOLATE

It may not feel quite as satisfying the first few times, but as you wean yourself off of excessive amounts of sugar, you'll be glad you're saving calories and enjoying a healthier but still decadent treat.

PORTION CONTROL

If you want to lose weight, stick to the right portion sizes at every meal. Measure out snacks instead of eating from the bag, use smaller plates, and store leftovers immediately so you're not tempted to go back for seconds.

 

EXERCISE

You can't get out of this one. Sorry. At least try to burn a few extra calories by moving a little more throughout the day. Walk around the office, take the stairs , and park a little farther from the office entrance to up your calorie burn.
